Your work is beautiful. Can you please explain a little further how you scan in a brush stroke and then used it for a digital brush? I'm not understanding and this is very interesting to me as I've been struggling with that exact problem for years now. Thanks

Your work is wonderful. I would love to see a demonstration of how you create your brushes from scanned in brush strokes. I have made brushes from photos of textures so I wonder if it's almost the same way.

That's a good post. Creative work processes are important to watch, analyse, understand, copy and modify to aquire skill.
Many artists only choose to present their great artwork leaving people baffled, or even intimidated... and they hide their sketches, faulty drawings and everything that didn't turn out well.
(I love mistakes... they're great for studies.)
